How it works
A player’s distance rank is added to their accuracy rank for the same period to produce one total-driving number. Someone ranked 5th in distance and 20th in accuracy would post a total-driving figure of 25, rewarding balance over specialization in either category alone.
What's a good Total Driving?
Tour leaders in total driving typically rank in the top 30-50 in both distance and accuracy at once, a harder combination than leading either category alone. Because it’s rank-based, it’s more useful for tour-wide comparisons than for tracking an individual amateur’s improvement.
